- Location: Falls Church / National Capital Region (primarily on-site at a government headquarters location; telework may be available for tasks that do not require on-site support, based on customer needs)

Role Overview
Polaris is seeking a Strategic Communications and Outreach Program Analyst to support a federal small business office outreach and communications function. This role supports outreach planning and execution, develops outreach metrics and reporting, coordinates web presence updates hosted on a government SharePoint platform, and produces written communications that inform and engage small business stakeholders. Communications support is focused on written communications, briefings, and stakeholder messaging.
What You Will Do
- Plan, coordinate, and assess outreach events annually (in-person, hybrid, or remote), based on customer direction.
- Provide monthly written recommendations for participation in new external outreach events and engagements and support benefit assessment.
- Develop outreach metrics and produce a semi-annual report summarizing events attended and outcomes/value.
- Prepare and assemble authorization and approval documentation for engagements for senior leadership review.
- Coordinate industry outreach activities, including speaking engagements, schedules, materials, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate with government website managers to maintain and update posted content, data, and links on a government SharePoint-hosted website, consistent with governance and approvals.
- Support written communications products, including an annual executive summary, newsletters, training materials, and marketing materials.
- Coordinate monthly written communications with program participants and other stakeholders, consistent with customer direction.
- Support approved digital communications channels (web presence, visual displays, and social media), including monitoring and posting approved content through authorized methods.
What You Will Bring (Required)
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in communications, outreach, stakeholder engagement, or program support.
- Strong writing and editing skills, including experience producing leadership-ready communications products.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines and coordinate across stakeholders.
